Flower CSA Program

We are excited to again offer a Flower Community Supported Agriculture program at NCCS in 2014.  Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a means of agricultural marketing in which the customer buys a share of a farm's products ahead of the growing season.  The CSA member then receives their products over the course of the season on a weekly basis.  You will most often find CSA farms offering produce, but more and more are offering products such as meat, eggs and flowers.

Jackie Coldsmith, owner of the small farm De La Tierra Gardens and NCCS parent runs this program that grows the beautiful bouquets that will be distributed via our CSA for 16 weeks starting June 17th and ending October 14th.  A single share is one bouquet per week for the 16 week period.  Pick up is at the school on Tuesdays from 3 to 5 pm.  Spaces are still available, shares are $128 which amounts to $8 per bouquet.  Interested in signing up?  Email jackiecoldsmith@gmail.com for more information.
